How We Use Your Personal Data

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising
Some cookies are strictly necessary: they remember your region and your cookie choice, and are always on. Everything else runs only if you click "Got it" on the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us understand how the website is used so we can improve it. Clarity records how pages are used (clicks and scrolling); anything typed into forms is masked and not recorded.
Advertising: the Meta Pixel tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone visits, views a product, uses our store locator or sends an enquiry, so we can measure and improve our advertising. The same events, with your IP address and browser type, are also sent to Meta from our website through Mezzo OS, the marketing system operated for us by our agency, Mezzo Collective. Mezzo OS never receives your name, email address, phone number or message.
If you send us an enquiry after accepting cookies, the Meta Pixel may pass your email address and phone number to Meta in scrambled (hashed) form, so that Meta can tell whether the enquiry came from one of our adverts. Your message is never sent.
Meta handles the information it receives under its own privacy policy. These providers may process information outside South Africa, including in the European Union and the United States.
Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
Data Retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.
